Bayou Pasta

This is so easy and so quick.  It's not fancy but it's a great meal to make when you don't have much time and don't feel like making something difficult.  You can use any kind of sausage you want.  Smoked, Italian, andouille, brats, whatever.

1 lb
sausage (whatever kind you want)
1 lb
fusilli, penne or other pasta that will hold sauce
1 tsp
Tony Chachere’s
15 oz jar
store bought Alfredo sauce
1 cup
chopped parsley

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the directions on the package.

While the pasta is cooking, cut the sausage into ¼" slices.  Put them in a bowl and sprinkle the Tony's over them.  Stir well to evenly coat.

Heat a large skillet with tall sides over medium heat and add the sausage.  Cook until lightly browned.

Stir in the Alfredo sauce and parsley and bring to a simmer.

When the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the sausage mixture.  Stir to combine.

Serve.  You can top this with some grated cheese or add a little hot sauce to dress or spice it up if you'd like.
