Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream

What is better than homemade vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day? This is so quick, easy, and good that it's almost criminal. Use the best vanilla you can find for this, it makes a big difference.

2 cups	half and half
1 cup	whipping cream
¾ cup	sugar
1 tbl	vanilla
¼ tsp	salt

Mix everything together. Dump it in the ice cream maker. Follow the directions for your particular ice cream maker.
