This is
very simple and so good. The key is to use bananas
that are as ripe as possible without being bad. This
recipe makes two, two slices thick pieces of French toast.
⅓ cup
milk
1
egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract
⅓ cup
sugar
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1
banana
2 tbl
butter
Whisk the milk,
egg, and vanilla extract together and set aside. Mix the
sugar and cinnamon together and set aside.
Now peel the banana. Using a fork smash the banana until it
turns into mush. Spread ¼ of the banana mush on a slice of
bread and ¼ on another slice. Put the two slices together
with the banana in the interior of the slices making a banana
sandwich.
Now dip the banana sandwich in the batter and let it soak up some
of the batter.
Heat a non-stick frying pan to medium and put the butter in the
frying pan and let it melt. Put the banana sandwich in the
frying pan and cook it for about 2 minutes our until browned then
flip. Cook until the other side browns and then put on a
plate.
Sprinkle as much or as little cinnamon sugar on the toast as you'd
like.
