Egg Rolls In A Bowl

Egg Rolls in a Bowl

This is a very quick dinner and good on a busy work night.

1 tbl
sesame oil
½ onion, diced
3
cloves garlic, minced
1 lb
ground pork
2 tbl low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tbl oyster sauce
1 tbl
grated fresh ginger
¼ tsp red pepper flakes

salt

pepper
12 oz coleslaw mix, shredded cabbage, or better yet, broccoli slaw

sliced green onions, sesame seeds

Add the sesame oil to a large non-stick skillet and turn the heat to medium high.  Add the onion and cook until translucent.  Now add the garlic and cook for 15 seconds.  Do not let the garlic brown.

Add the ground pork and cook until it's no longer pink, breaking it up as it cooks.

Add the soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, oyster sauce, ginger, red pepper flakes, and salt and pepper to taste.  Add the coleslaw mix, shredded cabbage, or broccoli slaw.  Stir well and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the vegetables reach your desired tenderness.

Serve garnished with the green onions and sesame seeds. I like to drizzle some La-Yu Chili Oil on to spice things up a bit.
