Simple Syrup |
|
2 cups |
sugar |
2 cups |
water |
Everything Else |
|
1 cup |
lemon juice |
4 cups |
water |
Make the
simple syrup by adding the water and sugar to a small non
reactive pot. If you make extra simple syrup remember
that the sugar will dissolve long before the pot comes to a
boil but the syrup will store longer in the fridge if you
bring it to a boil. Once you make the syrup, slice the
lemons in half and juice them. Pour the juice through
a strainer to remove the seeds and most of the pulp.
Pour the lemon juice, simple syrup, and water into a a half
gallon container, stir well, chill, and serve over
ice.
