Yellow Rice

We buy way too much yellow rice in a package so I decided to try to make it myself.  It turned out pretty good.  You can regular white rice for this if you don't have jasmine rice but the jasmine rice is better.

2 cups
jasmine rice
3½ cups
chicken stock

1 tbl

olive oil

¾ tsp
turmeric
1 tsp
granulated garlic
¼ tsp
ground cumin
¼ tsp
ground cinnamon

Put everything in a small pot or rice cooker and stir it well.  If you are using a rice cooker just push the button and let it do its job.  If you are using a pot on a stove bring everything to a boil, reduce it to a simmer, cover, and let it cook for 20 minutes.  Fluff with a fork and serve.
